John supplied me with all the parts needed to rebuild my gearbox. They were all spot on. He knows what he is talking about. He usually has several cars in for breaking so he's a good source of second hand bits.

Mr. Wadhams has organised the production of a new backlight seal for the later P4s, which is a much closer replica of the original than the one previously available. If you need a backlight seal make sure you ask for one of these.
In my experience his body panels are excellent too.

Carl specialises in the repair and recalibration of instruments, including car clocks. He is also able to rebuild the electromechanical fuel reserve valve used on earlier P4s, and can source many of the more obscure clips, rivets, and rubber bits. I had my fog and spot lamps re-silvered by him.

I have never used Ely, but they are often featured when Practical Classics Magazine are covering some aspect of P4 overhaul. They are quite traditional and will undertake jobs like engine rebuilds.

Richard often has several cars in for breaking, and sometimes acts as a source of obsolete reconditionable parts for the other spares men. Consequently you can save a few quid by buying directly from him, if you are prepared to recondition the part yourself.
Dave Byatt offers a reconditioning service for the position sensitive boot light. I was very pleased with the result he achieved on mine, which came back looking like new.

The Guild operates a tool hire service, which is available only to members. The tools include a Cylinder bore gauge, 0-1 inch and 2-3 inch micrometers, King pin press, Bearing separator and driver set, Dial test indicator set, Bushing driver set, Ridge reamer and Pilot reamers. Surprisingly, when I phoned up, the tool hire officer was unable to offer advice regarding the purpose of these tools, and could not even provide a meaningful description of some of them, which may explain why this is an under used service at the moment! The hire period is usually two weeks.

When I saw him at Beaulieu he had an impressive array of genuine parts including new calipers and master cylinders. He claims to supply some of the P4 specialists.

A good source of the correct sizes of nuts and bolts for putting the body back together. Don't however seem to have a lot of BA stuff.
Nice.... It seems a shame to hide it away under the back seat of a P4 - which is of course, where the battery belongs on a P4!

Can supply sheeting for making splash seals, matting for the boot in a variety of patterns including the original, square and round closed cell sponge sections, plus all the usual rubber extrusions. Competitively priced.
Hampshire electroplating have done all my replating work. They seem to cope with awkward flippy bits like the window surrounds well.
I don't think they do mail order.
Seem to operate out of a shed by the side of the road, but certainly know their stuff.
I am not sure if they would do mail order... but you could ask!
